Singham Again Arjun Kapoor: Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor said that he is very happy with the love received by the audience for his character in Danger Lanka. He said that the character of ‘Singham Again’ has connected him to his roots, just like he felt while doing ‘Ishaqzaade’ in 2012.
Arjun said, “Coming back to the screen with a character like Danger Lanka, it feels like I am connecting with the roots from where my career started, because I also played a serious role in Ishaqzaade.”
The actor is extremely happy to see the kind of response he is getting for playing the role of a villain in this Rohit Shetty starrer.
The actor said, “The response to Danger Lanka is very special for me. The fans liked this avatar of mine very much.
Adding, “Every role shapes you, and this role has reminded me of the moment from where I started. I am grateful to the audience for embracing this change and joining me in this journey.” .”
Arjun expressed his gratitude to Rohit Shetty for the role of Danger Lanka and said, “I am grateful to Rohit sir for showing his confidence in me for this character.”
“Singham Again” was released on Diwali. Ajay Devgan is in the lead role in the film, along with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Jackie Shroff. It is the fifth installment of Shetty’s Cop Universe franchise. The film has taken inspiration from the characters of Ramayana.
“Singham Again” earned Rs 139.25 crore in India in its first four days. Since its release, the film has earned more than Rs 140.11 crore.
Director Rohit Shetty is very happy because “Singham Again” has become his 10th and highest earning film of Rs 100 crore.
Rohit shared pictures on Instagram of those films which have crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. These include ‘Singham Again’, ‘Suryavanshi’, ‘Simmba’, ‘Golmaal Again’, ‘Singham Returns’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Bol Bachchan’, ‘Singham’ and ‘Golmaal 3’.
The filmmaker captioned the post, “Singham Again is my 10th and fastest film to earn Rs 100 crore. One thing that has always remained constant in the last 16 films is your love. Thank you for your support and love.
